My Thoughts

Desperate Warrior is the first book of the Chato’s Chiricahua Apache Legacy. It was an incredible read based on the Apache history. It is evident Mr. Farmer has extensive knowledge based on his writing. The development of the characters was unreal and brought the reader into the story. Not knowing much about the history myself, it was easy to follow due to the writing style and description provided. It was unbelievable how he captured the heart of the battle scenes and overall life of the warriors. Readers will not be disappointed. This book would appeal to those historians who love western history fiction.
