Terms and Conditions

For Reviewers

  • We do NOT pay for reviews. You will receive free ebooks/ARCs/Books for the purpose of an honest review, but you will NOT receive any money for said reviews.
  • We do NOT allow file sharing or the sharing or selling of ARCs. If you are found to be sharing efiles or ARCs or selling them you will be asked to leave our site and all information we have on you will be turned over to the publishers/authors/publicist/contacts. They may decide to take legal action against you.We are NOT responsbile for your actions and we will not defend you. If you are pirating/stealing from an author or publisher you are stealing.
  • We do NOT bash authors. We ask that you be honest in your review but in no way are you allowed to bash an author or book. If you can not give a good concise reason as to why you did not like a book it will not be published.We do ask that you be honest and give authors a reason for your issues or dislike,this may help them to improve their craft.
  • We ask that you NOT post your review to another site without our express permission.All reviews are the property of My Book Addiciton and More.
  • All reviewers will be placed on a probational basis for the first three months reviewing two books a month.
  • We are not requiring you to read ebooks but it is helpful. As most publishers are leaning more and more heavily on eARCs vs paperback.
  • We do ask that you be willing to review two books a month.

For Authors

  • If you are after a review, please be aware that we do not have set dates for getting reviews done. All reviews are done as our time allows. We will get to them as soon as we can, however we are strong mood readers and we no longer make ourselves read books we are not in the mood for. So your book may not get reviewed in the order it was received.
  • We do accept most books, however be aware that just because we accept your book we are not assuring you a review. If for whatever reason we can NOT get into the book or we find our feelings for the review are not very positive we may choose not to put up a review. We may post our feelings on books, good or bad, but will NEVER bash an author. If we dislike something we will try our best to give you a good concise reason why.
  • We reserve the right to not post any review we fell is too negative, as well as the right not to finish/read any book we accept. By accepting your book we are agreeing to try it, not to finish it. We do NOT return books. We do accept ebooks, PDFs, Kindle or Kobo.
  • We take each book on the basis of the book, not it’s genre. We reserve the right to NOT accept any book we feel we won’t read.
  • As we start back up, there are only a couple of us, so please be patient as your book maybe reviewed by any one of us. We all have full time jobs outside of this.
  • We do not tell our reviewers what to write or how to rate a review and we will NOT change ratings.
